Assalamu 'alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh,


Alhamdulillah, the RMC successfully organized a TRGS 2018 Workshop  (Phase 1) on 30th January 2018 with  full participation from all Kulliyyahs. This second phase of TRGS workshop, together with LRGS 2018 Workshop will be conducted by Prof. Dr. Abdul Latif Ahmad of USM, a national evaluator and top 1% cited researcher in the world.  The aim of this second workshop is to enable researchers to gain insights from a national evaluator and to receive feedback on their proposals, especially on the Executive Summary, Standard Operating Procedure and interconnectivity between the disciplines in solving the problem.


The RMC would like to invite all Deans, HORs and researchers to the TRGS Workshop 2018 (Phase 2) & LRGS Workshop 2018 which will be held as follows:


Date/Day:       26th February 2018 (Monday)

Time:              8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Venue:            Senate Hall, Level 5,  Rectory Building, IIUM GOMBAK  &  Senate Hall, Kuantan Campus  (via video conference)

Note: Please take note that the programme will start promptly at 9:00 a.m.


Respected HORs are highly requested to join and encourage your researchers to attend this workshop.  Please bring along your proposals to be commented on  by Prof. Latif.  If you are not able to come up with the full proposal,  please  come with at least the executive summary, standard operating procedure and the slide on the inter-connectivity among the disciplines.  This workshop is important for researchers to have a clear idea on the areas of importance to MOHE and on how to write a winning research proposal.
